It was the same problem with my mother'tv. I tryed the reset every ways and nothing worked. But after replace her tv, the Westinghouse was in my car for 3 days. I though that is not possible to put it in the garbage. I finally taked the tv for checking it at home and surprise ! When i plugged the tv i saw a complete initialisation working and at the end all was fixed. Unplug it for one day or two.... it was magic.

I called westinghouse' online number and he had me unplug and hold the power button for 20 seconds. This did nothing as it shut down again after 60 seconds. He told me unless i purchased an extended warranty, I need to take it to a repair shop.

I have the same problem that has been cited by at least 10 other individuals here: My model ​WD40FW2610 automatically shuts off after less than 60 seconds. Just started this month. I would like Westinghouse to post some comments here re what the problem is and how it can be corrected.

I was also having the issue where my westinghouse tv was turning off after 30s-1min, the lan fix mentioned below seems to have fixed my issue. odd that internet connectivity was causing this to happen

I tried the LAN fix, it works, just that you can only watch dvds. Go to settings>network >wireless

westinghouse wd40fw2610 shutting off after a minute. This happened about a week or so ago. I did notice that is happens once the internet connects fully to the tv. But I can not get into tv settings to remove the internet access from the tv

I have the sane midel WD40FW2610 and it also now shuts off after 58 seconds this also started in December two days ago !!!

I have the same issue as comment #20 my tv shuts off after 40 seconds or so. This just started happening a few days ago. Whats up Westinghouse?

I also have a Westinghouse WD40FW2610 and it also now shuts off after approx. one minute, this also started in December. Isn't this an amazing coincidence?

I may have found a temp solution for the tv shutting off after 60 seconds. What seems to be happen here is when the tv connects to the internet it shuts off. I powered off my internet modem and the tv works fine except no smart features. So I went into the settings and changed my tv to Lan connection so it can’t connect to the internet without connecting an Ethernet cable then at night before I goto bed I will plug the Ethernet cable into my tv and hopefully an update will be pushed through at some point so I can go back to wifi. Hope this temp fix helps until Westinghouse fixes the problem.

My Westinghouse Model WD40FW2610 will not stay on for more than 59 seconds. I have unplugged everything, put new batteries in the remote and turned on the tv and removed the remote from the room to see if it was an issue with the remote. No change.

I have a 50" Roku tv that I'm trying to attach to a sound bar. I've tried both the AV connection and optical digital. The TV doesn't seem to recognize the sound bar on either set up.

One day my TV, that has played great since it was bought, sounded very garbled. Later that day we had no sound. We tried unplugging it, and waiting to let it reboot, but nothing happened. As we ran through a lot of the functions, we noticed the Sound was shut OFF. We tried to turn it on, but nothing worked. The Model number for the TV is WR58UCA4139 but I can't find that number in the above list. It's a 58 in. TV. The serial number is YN007A549933. If you can help me out to get this TV working properly, I'd appreciate it. If you can either send me an owner's manual or tell me where to download one, I'd be thankful for that too.

Hi, my mother gave me her Westinghouse Model LE-2480, TW643121024A.
She didn't have the user manual and I can't seem to find one online. Is it possible to have one sent via e-mail to me? The screen is dark and I want to lighten it up but I'd like the whole manual in case something else pops up. Can you help me?
