July 26, 2016 LeEco announced the acquisition of the Californian manufacturer of consumer electronics, including TVs and budget - Vizio Inc. The deal is estimated at $ 2 billion.

LeEco introduced ultra-thin 50-inch Super TV

At the press conference, the Chinese company LeEco (formerly known as Letv) presented not only Le 2 smartphones, 2 Pro and Le Le 2 the Max no 3.5mm audio jack, and line of smart TVs LeEco Super TV fourth generation. The underlying processor Mstar 6A938, 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB (X4-50) or 32 GB (X4-50 Pro) of internal flash memory. intelligent functions is controlled by shell EUI 5.8 TV, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. There is also a webcam, support for wireless connections, Wi-Fi (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 4.1 LE, three HDMI 2.0 ports and two USB 3.0.

As the producer, the price for all models installed below the cost of mass production, because the use model of "subsidies on the purchase of equipment as part of the ecosystem services." Simply put, LeEco agreed to sell the gadgets at a lower price, as long as users have access to its ecosystem services.

I bought an Letv smart 55 Inch in Shenzhen China in March 2017. I'm based in Nairobi Kenya. I have never been able to connect directly to U tube or Netflix or anything online. It indicates location as China. There is no Kenya on the menu. There's also no option for English language. I'm frustrated. My number is +254 724489845, e-mail:princegeorges08@yahoo.com. All apps are say “Unfortunately this app has stopped”. Nothing is streaming. I have factory reset the TV, deleted & reinstalled apps. Nothing is working.
